Responsibilities
Design and implement new features, modules, and enhancements within ServiceNow, with a strong emphasis on scalability, performance, and security
Own the development and deployment of core SecOps capabilities including Security Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, and Vulnerability Response
Collaborate with architects and infrastructure teams to implement clean data flows and robust system integrations between ServiceNow and key enterprise applications
Within the first 60 days, take ownership of configuring and maintaining ServiceNow modules including ITOM, IRM, and SPM
Author and maintain high-quality server-side and client-side scripts (e.g., Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies)
Establish test cases and debugging procedures for all code changes
Work with business analysts to gather, clarify, and document requirements
Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with internal compliance standards
Attend daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos
Within the first 90–180 days, take ownership of identifying how AI and automation tools can support or enhance the core responsibilities of this role
Qualification
Required
2–4 Years of experience in ServiceNow development
Technical fluency with ServiceNow architecture
Strong understanding of secure, maintainable, and scalable development practices
Hands-on experience in Security Operations (SecOps)
Experience with configuration and scripting within key ServiceNow modules including ITSM, IRM, SecOps, ITOM, and SPM
Ability to design and implement new features, modules, and enhancements within ServiceNow
Experience in developing and deploying core SecOps capabilities including Security Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, and Vulnerability Response
Ability to collaborate with architects and infrastructure teams to implement clean data flows and robust system integrations
Experience in configuring and maintaining ServiceNow modules including ITOM, IRM, and SPM
Ability to write, review, and maintain custom scripts and workflows
Experience in performing unit testing and debugging to ensure platform stability
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Experience in documenting technical solutions and system changes
Ability to participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives
Ability to evaluate and integrate AI to improve performance
