ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE)
The City of Newport Beach is seeking an Administrative Assistant to the Assistant City Manager. The role involves providing executive-level support, coordinating administrative operations, and interacting with various officials and committees.

Responsibilities
Provides executive-level support to the Assistant City Manager
Works closely with the Executive Assistant to the City Manager in coordinating the administrative operations of the department
Maintains calendars, makes appointments, schedules meetings, and coordinates departmental activities
Interacts with elected and appointed officials, department directors, and provides administrative support to City committees
Coordinates department personnel-related matters including payroll
Works collaboratively with other departments
Qualification
Required
Four or more years of increasingly responsible administrative, secretarial, and clerical experience
Government experience and experience working closely with senior management, boards, and commissions desirable
Equivalent to graduation from high school
Additional coursework or training in office administration, business administration or a related field desirable
A valid and appropriate California driver's license and an acceptable driving record may be required
