The candidate will assist in assessing network technologies and determining the impacts of network infrastructure changes while maintaining compliance with governing requirements and mentoring less experienced teammates.

Responsibilities
Assess device configurations and troubleshoot network systems
Technically review engineering products that will be issued to the waterfront and/or government
Rapidly troubleshoot waterfront issues and help drive resolutions to completion
Maintain knowledge of governing requirements to ensure deliverables stay in compliance
Mentor and train less experienced teammates
Qualification
Required
Must possess and maintain an active Secret clearance
Five or more years' of experience with either Network Administration or Network System Administration
Bachelor's Degree from an ABET accredited program
Prior direct experience with network technologies (Layer 3 switches, firewalls, etc.) and networking protocols and concepts such as OSPF, routing protocols, and port security
Direct experience configuring Cisco, Juniper, or Alcatel devices
Direct experience with tools such as Wireshark, Net Management solutions and logging solutions
Preferred
Recognized certifications, e.g. Security+, Network+, CCNA
