This role involves partnering with business leaders and various departments to guide strategic purchasing decisions and manage contracts effectively.

Responsibilities

Participate in cross‑functional teams including IT, Legal, Finance, Compliance, and business stakeholders to lead sourcing and contract activities
Manage incoming contracts, including IT and Software as Service agreements (SaaS), overseeing renewals, negotiations, and coordination with contract owners - while preparing clean, accurate documentation for Legal review
Process contract renewals, negotiate terms, and coordinate with contract owners
Evaluate vendors, analyze proposals, and lead sourcing initiatives by translating business objectives into clear priorities, pricing objectives, and negotiation strategies
Interpret contractual language up-front and relay key terms, risks, and implications to non‑legal stakeholders
Prepare clean, accurate documents before legal review
Execute and track procurement workflows using Coupa and related systems, ensuring adherence to compliance standards

Required

College degree, preferred; however, relevant procurement work experience will be considered in lieu of degree
Contract experience (procurement or supply chain preferred)
Experience negotiating contracts and asking tough questions
Proven ability to identify or contribute to cost-savings
Curiosity, adaptability, and strong research skills
Coupa, Oracle, or other procurement system knowledge (SAP a plus)
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Must be comfortable communicating professionally both verbally and through written communication
