Responsibilities
Lead optical signal path design and signal integrity analysis
Develop optical signal paths for CPO (co-packaged optical) test systems
Perform top-level tolerance analysis
Work with handler and tester teams to specify optical components and maintain system signal integrity
Ensure designs meet signal integrity, reliability, and laser safety requirements
Oversee integration into mechatronic systems and transition from prototype to high-volume manufacturing
Develop and implement optical system validation strategies
Test, validate, and characterize integrated optical hardware
Align optical systems, cables, connectors, and probes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Photonics, Optical Engineering, or related field
8+ years of experience in Semiconductor Test, optical integration, or high-tech industries
Optical Signal Integrity: Deep understanding of optical signals, measurements, instruments, interconnects, and loss impacts
Optical Signal Path Design: Hands-on design knowledge and experience
System Integration: Experience integrating optical systems with thermal management, mechatronics, and high-volume production scaling
Test Strategy: Ability to set up optical test equipment, characterize performance and losses, and create technical reports
Preferred
Master's degree in Photonics, Optical Engineering, or related field
