Federal Sales Engineer
Horizon3.ai is a fast-growing, remote cybersecurity company dedicated to enabling organizations to proactively find and fix exploitable attack vectors. They are seeking a passionate Sales Engineer to join their Federal Team, focusing on customer engagement, product demonstrations, and technical expertise to support the sales process.

Responsibilities
Must demonstrate deep knowledge of our cybersecurity products and services, assisting the sales team in presenting and position them to prospects and clients
Must meet with potential customers to understand their cybersecurity needs, challenges, and infrastructure, ensuring that our solutions are the perfect fit for them
Provide live demos and proof of concepts for our cybersecurity solutions, tailoring each demo to the specific needs and concerns of the potential customer
Will work closely with the sales and product teams to design and refine our solutions based on customer needs
Train the sales team on the technical aspects of our products to enhance their ability to sell more effectively
Relay feedback from the field to our product and engineering teams, contributing to the ongoing improvement of our product
Assist in answering technical sections of RFPs and RFIs
On rare occasions, assist in post-sales processes to ensure the smooth implementation and satisfaction of our customers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer/Solutions Architect, ideally in the cybersecurity domain
Familiarity with managed services delivery models, SOC workflows, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, PTaaS and MDR
Proficiency with cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), identity systems (AD/AAD), and networking fundamentals
Strong understanding of cyber threats, risk management, and cybersecurity solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrates ability to simplify complex technical topics for a non-technical audience
Highly collaborative with a strong sense of initiative
Preferred
Location: US, Washington DC Region Prefeed
Certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or cloud security certifications are desirable
US Federal Clearance Preferred (*Must be able to obtain the required Security Clearance and potential granting access to classified information systems)
