Head of Strategic Partnerships
Weeday is seeking a Head of Strategic Partnerships to lead and grow their external relationships. This role focuses on developing strategic partnerships that enhance brand positioning and create long-term value, requiring strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of the cannabis industry.

Responsibilities
Own Weeday’s partnerships strategy across retail & wholesale, brand collaborations, sponsored partnerships, and etc
Identify high-leverage opportunities aligned with brand values and long-term growth goals
Evaluate inbound partnership requests and proactively source new opportunities
Determine which partnerships to pursue and which to decline
Lead strategic retail and wholesale partnerships with select smoke shops, dispensaries, lifestyle retailers, and distributors
Own deal structure, including pricing and margin alignment, MOQs, exclusivity, and launch strategy
Manage key partner relationships to drive sustained growth and repeat business
Work with operations on fulfillment, invoicing, and logistics
Structure and negotiate brand collaborations, sponsored integrations, and event or cultural partnerships
Focus on partnerships that drive brand awareness, cultural relevance, and long-term market influence
Ensure all partnerships reinforce Weeday’s brand positioning and premium perception
Lead all partnership negotiations from first conversation to signed agreement
Own pricing logic and partnership economics
Balance short-term revenue with long-term brand value
Push back on unfavorable terms and protect brand integrity
Maintain clear documentation and handoff for internal activation
Qualification
Required
4-8+ years of strategic partnerships/sales experience
Deep experience within cannabis, smoke, or adjacent culture-driven industries
A proven, real-world local and national network
Exceptional negotiation skills—must be comfortable saying no to bad deals and selling a vision
Extremely comfortable and confident in pitching collaboration opportunities to different clients and brands
Fluent in digital media trends, strategies, and brand partnership best practices
