YBI is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Youth Program Coordinator. The role involves planning and coordinating virtual reality and STEM education programs, leading workshops, and engaging with students from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and coordination of virtual reality, workforce development, and STEM education programs for students
Lead entrepreneurship workshops and virtual reality field trips
Help with outreach and recruitment efforts to identify and engage with students from diverse backgrounds
Collaborate with team members to develop program curriculum and educational materials
Support the development and maintenance of relationships with community partners and stakeholders
Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of virtual reality equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and cleanliness
Assist in the setting up and breakdown of program events and activities
Collect and analyze data on program impact and effectiveness
Work with the Program Director and Marketing Director on social media campaigns to effectively promote the program
Provide general administrative support to the team as needed
Qualification
Required
Passion for equity in education and providing opportunities for underrepresented youth
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Proficient in organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
Works productively
Demonstrates good judgment, decision-making and confidentiality
Possesses good verbal and written communication skills, ability to command a classroom
Capable of using G Suites for Calendar, Email, Docs, Drive as well as Word and Excel
Preferred
Familiarity with virtual reality technology and STEM education
