Responsibilities
Provides numerical control, machining, and programming technical support
Analyze blueprints and engineering models to support NC programming
Develop optimized programs to improve efficiency and run time, utilizing new cutter technology and techniques
Plans, creates, verifies, and revises machine control data and documentation that directs the operations for numerically controlled machines
Ability to collaborate in a team environment
Implements fabrication, assembly, or installation manufacturing plans by coordinating with suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing teams
Coordinate and communicates with engineering teams to influence and clarify design concepts
Optimizes processes and addresses producibility issues as well as production & post-production problems
Qualification
Required
Ability to apply process knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Composite non-metallic, Electrical/Electronics, Machining, Sheet metal, Systems and Structures
3+ years of professional experience in numerical control (NC) programming, concentrating on multi-axis machines, metallic or composite materials
7+ years of total experience relative to the role. Experience with CATIA Provides numerical control, machining, and programming technical support
Analyze blueprints and engineering models to support NC programming. Develop optimized programs to improve efficiency and run time, utilizing new cutter technology and techniques
Plans, creates, verifies, and revises machine control data and documentation that directs the operations for numerically controlled machines
