Responsibilities
Assist the access point enhancement initiative; conduct site surveys, equipment preparation, and support deployment/implementation efforts
Maintain network infrastructure inventory, diagramming, and documentation
Learn and implement network design principles and best practices
Work with the Operations Team and Employee Support teams to configure, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications and hardware
Support and aid in troubleshooting efforts related to end user hardware and application usage
Document application usage procedures and user guides
Assist team members with defining testing strategies and validation criteria for comprehensive coverage of application updates
Organize, inventory, catalog, and oversee the IT warehouse and equipment
Facilitate proper disposal and recycling of end-of-life hardware according to company policy and environmental regulations
Provide general IT support as needed
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a two or four-year degree, specializing in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Administration, or a related field
Understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work with focus and diligence
High accountability, ownership, and drive to create quality work products
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Ability to lift and move computer equipment (up to 50 lbs) as needed
