Responsibilities
Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical design specifications
Develop, test, and debug mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and SQL
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software solutions are aligned with business objectives
Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner
Optimize application performance and enhance system scalability
Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
Document software changes and provide end-user support and training
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Proven experience as a Mainframe Developer or similar role
Strong knowledge of programming languages, including COBOL, JCL, and SQL
Experience with IBM mainframe systems and tools
Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work
