DSHS HCLA Field Services Administrator
NEOGOV is looking for an experienced leader to support the Home and Community Administration in the Region 3 Field Services office. The role involves overseeing field service operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and developing community partnerships while managing and leading staff in delivering social and health services programs.

Responsibilities
Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement the regulatory activities throughout the region related to quality improvement activities with line staff and field managers
Lead in ensuring that field’s response to HCLA’s strategic plan, objectives and action plans are accomplished and submitted timely to HQ
In collaboration with the Regional Administrator, ensure that the corrective action plans are developed and submitted timely when state and federal audit occurs
Communicate and coordinate with regional staff and others, including the HQ Training Unit and HR to identify areas where line staff and/or field managers require professional development and/or performance issues addressed
Support Field Managers to ensure all staff are treated with dignity and respect and follow Equity, Diversity, Access, and Inclusion standards ensuring the workplace is free from bullying/harassment
Ensure Safety Committee meetings are meeting standards and recommendations are followed up
Work with the Regional Administrator to set expectations for performance and develop work plans; recruit, interview, hire, mentor, coach, train, and evaluate performance
Ensure that the workload of each of the unit is carried out; initiate corrective action when necessary; provide personnel consultation and performance feedback
Provide consultation and act as subject matter expert/resource to the management team in areas of interpreting regulations for both state and federal guidelines related to licensing, inspection, survey/certification and complaint investigations and matters related to administrative hearing
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in social science, health, public administration, or a related field and three years of experience planning, administering, developing, or delivering social and health services programs
Bachelor's degree in social science, health, public administration, or a related field and five years of professional experience planning, administering, developing, or delivering social and health services programs
Two years of experience working with vulnerable adults in a regulatory or professional capacity, including interpreting and applying laws and legal documents
Three years of experience managing and leading staff, including supervision of mid-level supervisors across a diverse, multi-site workforce
Willingness and ability to become SMQT-certified within one year of hire
