Responsibilities
Configure and support network systems and equipment for security projects and service work
Program, test, repair, and service access control and IP video systems
Work directly with client IT teams to plan and implement network scope and interfaces
Monitor system logs and maintain accurate network documentation
Assist Project and Service Specialists with technical IT and networking issues
Support sales teams with system designs, proposals, and technical input
Build, maintain, and secure routers and firewalls as needed
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and upgrade enterprise-class systems
Identify project risks and assist with mitigation strategies
Support system startups, checkouts, and turnovers at client sites
Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service as a trusted technical advisor
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience supporting, programming, and servicing electronic security systems
Strong experience with access control and video platforms such as Lenel, Software House, Avigilon, Genetec, AMAG, Milestone, or similar
Solid networking expertise: servers, switches, LAN/WAN
Ability to troubleshoot complex system, software, and network issues on-site and remotely
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to communicate technical/project requirements to diverse stakeholders
Valid driver's license with a clean record
Preferred
Certifications with Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, AMAG, Milestone, ONSSI, AXIS, or similar
College degree, trade school, or equivalent experience
