Workday Extend Developer
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Workday Extend Developer to design, build, test, deploy, and support custom applications on the Workday Extend platform. This role involves collaborating with functional and technical teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions that meet business needs.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, document, deploy, and support Workday Extend applications
Partner with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designs
Collaborate with the technical team and other developers to ensure architectural consistency and code quality
Build and support integrations using Workday APIs and standard integration patterns
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues; perform root-cause analysis
Follow established quality assurance, change management, and governance practices
Maintain documentation, technical designs, and support procedures
Contribute to continuous improvement of Extend development standards and patterns
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalence experience
Hands-on experience developing applications
Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, and integration concepts
Experience working collaboratively with functional and technical stakeholders
Ability to design secure, scalable, and supportable solutions
Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
Preferred
Hands-on experience developing applications on Workday Extend
Experience with Workday integrations (Studio, Core Connectors, EIB)
Familiarity with Workday security concepts and reporting
Prior experience in an internal enterprise Workday environment
Workday Extend or Integrations certifications
