Responsibilities
Perform hardware assembly and fabrication of designed systems
Order control system components based on engineering requirements
Order instrumentation and sensors based on user or application requirements
Perform time and cost estimates of fabrication work
Review hardware assembly and wiring diagrams for control and data acquisition systems
Troubleshoot control system software in PLC ladder logic, function block, etc., if needed
Qualification
Required
Due to federal requirements for large portions of the assigned work, a US Citizenship is required for this position
Two (2) years of related experience in instrumentation
Must show ability to learn operational knowledge of assembling, troubleshooting, maintaining, controls, data acquisition, or similar areas during the first 90 days of employment
Experience in the use of Microsoft Windows based PCs
Must have the ability to read and interpret electrical controls and instrumentation wiring diagrams, technical literature, and manufacturer's specifications or demonstrate the ability to learn to read and interpret these documents during the first 90 days of employment
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment
Must have strong time management and organizational skills with ability to adapt to changing work environment
Preferred
Two (2) years of formal training from a technical/trade school with emphasis in electrical, controls, instrumentation, computer science, or similar discipline is a plus
