Responsibilities
Drive new business growth through proactive outreach, relationship-building, and strategic pipeline development
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with brands, agencies, and creative partners
Help shape longer-term partnership models, including retainer-style relationships and innovation-driven engagements
Represent The Garage’s creative and technical capabilities with clarity and conviction
Stay ahead of industry shifts, emerging platforms, and evolving brand needs
Use AI and modern sales tools to identify leads, streamline communication, and increase efficiency
Collaborate closely with our production and creative teams to ensure an exceptional client experience
Identify new verticals and opportunities that align with where the industry is going, not where it’s been
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in business development or new business sales (advertising/production strongly preferred)
A proven track record of bringing in meaningful new client relationships and large accounts
Deep familiarity with commercial production and the creative ecosystem around it
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a natural ability to connect with people
A forward-looking mindset and real awareness of where the industry is headed
Comfort using AI and emerging tools as part of a modern sales and outreach workflow
Strong organizational skills and follow-through
Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and modern communication platforms
