Principal Field Service Specialist-2

They are seeking a Principal Field Service Specialist to support Advanced Sensor Programs, providing long-term technical field support for complex electronic and electro-mechanical radar systems. The role involves collaborating with a field team to ensure the effective operation and maintenance of cutting-edge airborne radar systems for military applications.

Responsibilities
Participate in the development, maintenance, and sustainment of the sensor system
Conduct daily reviews with customers
Perform administrative tasks essential for system maintenance, including planning, coordination, task monitoring, shipping, receiving, packaging, and inventory management
Utilize knowledge gained from and through field experiences to provide onsite technical support and assistance directly to customers when required
Communicate technical information effectively in both written and verbal formats
Collaborate with offsite engineering teams to troubleshoot and perform necessary repairs
Travel OCONUS: Two (2) 75-day deployments per year
Travel CONUS: Up to 40 days per year
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience
Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain Tier 5 (SCI) after start
Experience in repair and maintenance of military electro-mechanical systems
Experience in system integration, logistics processes, and logistics procedures
Preferred
Experience with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) and Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA)
Experience with airborne radar systems
Proficiency in navigating and executing commands within a UNIX environment and interpreting maintenance-related results
Strong technical writing, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work outdoors in challenging environmental conditions
