Responsibilities

Drive the commercial strategy for global and identify barriers to growth, proposing actionable solutions
Leverage your deep CGT rolodex to open doors, build trust, and accelerate market penetration
Stay ahead of emerging CGT trends, technologies, and competitive dynamics to guide strategic decisions
Lead senior‑level sales engagements, visiting customers and articulating a compelling value proposition
Build, manage, and take full accountability for the sales funnel and pipeline
Identify, cultivate, and maintain long‑term strategic relationships with key accounts and industry partners
Generate new business opportunities through CRM insights and collaboration with marketing
Provide financial justification for technology adoption
Partner with technical sales and application specialists to deliver high‑impact customer engagements
Translate customer needs into clear requirements and ensure alignment across internal teams
Develop SOPs that standardize pre‑ and post‑sales processes to ensure consistent, exceptional customer experience
Work closely with legal, contracts, and finance to negotiate and close deals, refine terms and conditions, and ensure commercial compliance
Provide senior leadership with accurate forecasts, pipeline visibility, and market intelligence
Forecast demand to manufacturing and supply chain to support operational planning
Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of openness, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Biological Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field (master's or PhD preferred)
5+ years of commercial development & sales experience in life sciences or related industries
5+ years of experience in Cell & Gene Therapy
Proven success selling healthcare or biotech equipment
Hands‑on experience in a GMP research or transfusion lab is a strong plus
A robust CGT network and the ability to activate it

Required to reside in either eastern or central time zones
Up to 50% travel with potential to travel internationally

Preferred

Master's or PhD in Life Science, Biological Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field
