Responsibilities
Perform a variety of echocardiographic procedures, including: Transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), Stress Echocadiograms, Contrast and Bubble Studies, Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) (If Trained)
Ensure proper documentation of exams and patient information in EMR and PACS systems
Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards, including HIPAA and IAC accreditation requirements
Qualification
Required
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI
Current BLS certification required
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Echocardiography program
Perform a variety of echocardiographic procedures, including: Transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), Stress Echocardiograms, Contrast and Bubble Studies, Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) (If Trained)
Ensure proper documentation of exams and patient information in EMR and PACS systems
