Staffing & Recruiting
Responsibilities
Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy for adult and/or geriatric patients
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, social workers, nurses, and primary care providers
Participate in case reviews, treatment planning, and quality improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
Provide consultation support as needed for outpatient behavioral health services
Uphold ethical standards and adhere to best clinical practices
Qualification
Required
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Active Connecticut medical license or eligibility to obtain
Preferred
Open to newly trained graduates
