Senior LevelCEI’s Solutions Division is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and deliver agentic and generative AI solutions for enterprise clients. This hands-on, client-facing consulting role requires an experienced software engineer with a strong background in modern AI systems and cloud-native development.

Responsibilities
Design and implement AI-driven solutions, including agentic automation, document intelligence, and advanced RAG systems
Deliver billable, client-facing development services and maintain strong client relationships
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
Apply modern AI concepts such as prompt and context engineering, agent orchestration, memory management, model routing, and evaluations
Build, deploy, and operate AI solutions across Azure, AWS, or GCP
Work within agile, sprint-based delivery teams
Improve solution quality through observability, evaluation, and continuous optimization
Contribute to technical standards, knowledge sharing, and best practices across the Solutions team
Qualification
Required
Strong software engineering background (Computer Science or equivalent experience)
Recent, hands-on experience delivering production AI or agentic solutions in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Experience working in IT consulting, professional services, or client-facing delivery roles
Hands-on experience with one or more agent frameworks (e.g., Microsoft Agent Framework, LangGraph/LangChain, OpenAI Agents SDK, AWS Strands, Google ADK, Claude Agent SDK)
Experience building RAG and knowledge search solutions using technologies such as Azure AI Search, Azure Document Intelligence, OpenSearch, Kendra, Weaviate, or Chroma
Familiarity with AI observability and evaluation tools (e.g., LangFuse, LangSmith, RAGAS)
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Passion for continuous learning and staying current with AI advancements
Preferred
AI-related certifications (Microsoft or AWS)
Experience with data engineering or modern data platforms
Experience with cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, Azure Bicep, CloudFormation)
Experience working in agile consulting or delivery organizations
