Responsibilities

Collaborate with multiple organizations to understand market requirements, evaluate regulatory and energy transition trends as well as the competitive environment in order to identify product needs, looking for new features and capabilities to improve the competitive position of the 8000H gas turbine portfolio
Drive and lead key development projects from concept through commercial rollout
Drive frame specific internal communication: R&D project pipeline, business impacts, customer benefits
Maintain the external view on the 8000H: performance data and communication material including SE Homepage, GT World Handbook, Sales Presentations, Brochures
Contribute to strategic product roadmaps to assure life cycle success of the portfolio
Collaborate with various teams to prioritize, drive, guide and involvement in 8000H issues, root causes, and customer communication strategy
Support new unit sales regarding project specific strategy, load planning and customer meetings

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering is required
8+ years of professional experience in gas turbine design, power plant engineering, manufacturing, field service, project management or proposals
Leadership skills with a proactive customer-centric approach with creative and out-of-the-box thinking
A developed sense of personal accountability when it comes to decision-making and working with global development teams
A clear understanding of project management processes, strategies, and methods with experience managing complex projects
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization

Preferred

An advanced degree or equivalent experience in Business or Engineering is preferred
