Account Manager
FedEx Freight is a leading logistics company, and they are seeking an Account Manager to drive new business development and maintain customer relationships. The role involves identifying customer needs, delivering tailored solutions, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
Direct sales efforts within a terminal operations locality
Promote and direct sales activities, ensuring alignment with district goals
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and outreach
Maintain and grow existing accounts by understanding customer supply chains
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver outstanding service
Conduct sales presentations, develop proposals, and close deals
Utilize CRM tools and Microsoft Office to manage sales activities
Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
2 years B2B sales experience
Strong initiative, organizational skills, and adaptability
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Salesforce
Mid-level negotiation skills and ability to offer competitive pricing
Ability to collaborate with local operations teams
Knowledge of LTL services and competitive landscape
Ability to manage time and territory effectively
Ability to travel overnight as required
