This role is responsible for developing a comprehensive master instrument list, performing and documenting calibration activities, and ensuring compliance with cGMP and industry standards.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a master instrument list, entering calibration parameters for all systems including Building Automation Systems (BAS), Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS), Process Control Systems (PCS/TCUs), Compressed Air, WFI, Parts Washers, Autoclaves, Utility Panels, Water Systems, and HVAC
Schedule and coordinate calibration activities and vendor service visits in collaboration with Facilities, Engineering, EHS, and other project stakeholders
Review calibration certificates and service reports for accuracy and completeness
Enter and maintain calibration data within the SAP Calibration Management System (or equivalent CMMS)
Maintain audit-ready instrument history files and documentation
Ensure timely completion of all GMP, safety, and procedural training
Participate in project meetings, providing metrology updates and deliverables
Support inventory management by maintaining calibration parts and a well-organized metrology lab
Perform additional duties as needed to support overall project success
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field; or equivalent relevant experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in instrument calibration, maintenance, and metrology within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other FDA-regulated (cGMP) industry
Skilled in calibrating instrumentation for pressure, temperature, level, flow, and pH/conductivity
Strong knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 11, cGMP, GDP, and relevant industry standards (ISPE GAMP, ISO, USP, ASTM)
Exceptional attention to detail and strong commitment to data integrity
Highly organized with excellent time management and prioritization skills
Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
Preferred
Hands-on experience with utilities and process instrumentation (WFI, HVAC, compressed air, autoclaves, TCUs, environmental monitoring)
Experience with computerized calibration management systems (SAP PM, ProCal, Blue Mountain RAM)
