Responsibilities

Elevate patient care: Work closely with our ophthalmologists to gather comprehensive patient information, ensuring accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans
Master ophthalmic testing: Conduct thorough preliminary examinations, including visual acuity, pupillary responses, and more
Perform advanced diagnostics: Administer a range of diagnostic tests, such as OCT, perimetry, and ophthalmic photography
Assist in surgical procedures: Support ophthalmologists during minor surgeries, laser procedures, and crosslinking
Streamline patient flow: Efficiently manage patient flow in clinic and imaging rooms, collaborating with clinical staff
Administer eye drops: (Certification Required)
Contribute to clinic efficiency: Perform clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and organized workflow

Required

A passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Must have experience is refracting, imaging and IOL calculations
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Proven experience as an Ophthalmic Technician
Knowledge of medical office procedures
Ability to perform indirect activities, administrative tasks and any other assigned duties that contribute to the efficient & high-quality performance of the medical practice
High School Diploma or equivalent
Certification Required for administering eye drops

Preferred

Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) Certification
