Columbia University Irving Medical Center is seeking a Technician B to participate in the collection and analysis of maternal/fetal/infant physiological and behavioral data. The role involves assisting with EEG studies, preparing and analyzing data, and following research protocols while reporting to a supervisor and participating in lab meetings.

Responsibilities
Assisting with high density EEG studies, cross sensory associative learning paradigms, and developmental assessments of children
Preparation, processing, entering, and analysis of data collected
Candidate will follow research protocols as outlined in our standard operating procedures and the IRB protocol
Candidate will report to a supervisor daily, typically via email or slack or written QC reports and documentation
Send a weekly summary report with the research project administrator, as well as attend and participate in weekly lab and grant meetings
Perform related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology or physics or related science or equivalent in education, training and experience
Must successfully complete all online systems training requirements
This position will require travel to CUIMC and White Plains to assist with data collection
Previous experience working with children and families
Knowledge of programming and processing in R, programming and utilizing REDCap, and Excel
Experience conducting neurodevelopment learning paradigms
Ability to set up and conduct experiments or activities according to established protocols and record data
Familiarity with computerized operations and execution of automated processes
Ability to work under general supervision and in team science
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
