Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence and analytics needs
Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse
Develop and deploy BI solutions using tools such as Qlik Cloud, SSRS, or other reporting platforms
Create and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for all BI and data warehousing processes, including data flow diagrams, code documentation, and system configurations
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Optimize and tune data warehouse performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing
Develop and maintain documentation for data warehouse processes, architecture, and data models
Ensure data quality and integrity through validation, cleansing, and monitoring procedures
Troubleshoot and resolve data warehouse issues to ensure continuity and reliability
Stay current on emerging data technologies and best practices in business intelligence and data warehousing
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Data Warehouse Developer, Data Engineer, or in a similar technical data role
Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and database management
Proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL
Experience with ETL tools such as AWS Database Migration Service
Familiarity with data modeling techniques and tools
Understanding of data warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, etc)
Knowledge of data governance and data quality management best practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills
