They are seeking a Light Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician to diagnose, service, and repair bakery and deli refrigeration equipment in active retail environments.

Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, service, and repair light commercial refrigeration equipment, including reach-in coolers/freezers, prep tables, bakery display cases, deli cases, and small walk-in coolers/freezers
Diagnose refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical system issues and perform repairs efficiently
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and food safety compliance
Check refrigerant levels, pressures, superheat, and subcooling
Replace compressors, evaporator and condenser fan motors, contactors, relays, and controls as needed
Identify and repair refrigerant leaks in compliance with EPA regulations
Safely recover, evacuate, and charge refrigeration systems
Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs, recommendations, and equipment condition
Complete service documentation accurately using mobile service platforms
Maintain service vehicle, tools, and parts inventory
Follow all company safety policies and jobsite procedures
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years of light commercial refrigeration service experience
Hands-on experience with bakery, deli, grocery, or foodservice refrigeration equipment
Strong electrical and refrigeration troubleshooting skills
EPA Universal Certification required
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to prioritize service calls and manage daily workload
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and occasional overtime
Preferred
Experience servicing bakery display cases and deli prep equipment
Walk-in cooler/freezer service experience
Basic hot-side equipment knowledge (ovens, proofers, warmers)
Experience using digital service platforms and mobile dispatch systems
Prior grocery or retail refrigeration service experience
