Responsibilities

Manage general ledger operations and month-end close; ensure accurate and timely financial statements for multiple entities

Oversee inventory accounting : reconciliations, gross margin analysis, and intercompany eliminations

Manage revenue accounting and ASC 606 compliance , including deferred revenue and joint venture transactions

Oversee sales accounting , including Avalara sales tax reporting, state sales tax compliance, and commission calculations

Handle payroll processing , ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution

Maintain accurate records for prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and ASC 842 lease schedules

Lead financial reporting , budgeting, and forecasting activities

Support tax compliance, audits, and internal control processes

Drive process improvement initiatives , including ERP and expense management system implementations

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

6+ years of progressive accounting experience

Proven hands-on accounting experience in a small to mid-sized company environment

Strong understanding of GAAP, ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), and ASC 842 (Lease Accounting)

Payroll processing experience required

Advanced Excel skills

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting

Preferred

CPA or MBA

Experience in luxury retail or manufacturing

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Avalara, or Adaptive Insights
