Responsibilities
Define and execute the strategic roadmap for back-office and transaction-processing solutions in alignment with corporate objectives
Identify market trends, growth opportunities, and risks to maintain competitiveness and drive long-term value creation
Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing, cross-functional teams
Foster a collaborative culture that emphasizes accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
Oversee the design, development, and evolution of back-office platforms, applications, and services
Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, secure, and compliant with relevant industry standards and regulations
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
Translate client needs into effective, value-driven solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and retention
Own budget planning, resource allocation, and cost management for the division
Track performance using KPIs and financial metrics to inform decision-making and optimize profitability
Maintain awareness of applicable regulatory and compliance requirements related to transaction-based operations
Ensure systems and processes adhere to all relevant legal and regulatory standards
Establish and enforce quality assurance standards across development, testing, and deployment activities
Identify operational, technical, and security risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure system reliability and continuity
Partner with sales, marketing, operations, IT, and other business units to support enterprise-wide initiatives
Promote effective communication and alignment across departments to achieve shared goals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles
Demonstrated experience with high-volume, mission-critical transaction processing systems
Strong knowledge of cloud-native platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud)
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
Proven ability to lead complex organizations, define strategy, and execute at scale
Strong business acumen with experience in product, project, and financial management
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Familiarity with emerging technologies such as IoT, artificial intelligence, and blockchain
Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, or strategic partnerships
Established professional network within the technology or adjacent industries
