Responsibilities
Own, maintain, and expand the existing end-to-end automation test suites
Design, develop, and execute automated tests using JavaScript-based frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, or similar)
Build new automation coverage across API, UI, microservices, and integration layers
Work closely with developers to ensure testability, stability, and quality of all features
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with DevOps teams in an AWS environment
Investigate test failures, triage issues, and provide clear debugging feedback to engineering teams
Contribute to quality strategy, best practices, and process improvements across the QA function
Mentor junior QA team members when needed
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on QA automation experience
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and experience building automation frameworks from scratch
Solid experience with modern automation tools (Playwright, Cypress, WebdriverIO, or similar)
Strong expertise in API automation and tools like Postman, Newman, SuperTest, or similar
Experience working with AWS services (CloudWatch, S3, Lambdas, API Gateway, EC2, etc.)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
Strong understanding of software testing best practices and E2E testing strategy
Ability to operate independently, take ownership, and deliver results with minimal direction
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
Preferred
Experience with infrastructure-as-code or serverless frameworks
Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architectures
Experience with mobile automation (iOS/Android) is a plus
