Construction Materials Testing Technician

Consulting

Responsibilities

Field and laboratory testing of construction materials
Maintaining required certifications
Ability to lift 40-50 pounds
Coordinating with clients and Certerra/Insight Group engineering and professional state
Travel to client facilities as needed
Report writing and computer skills
Provides clear documentation of findings and results
Performs basic analysis of data to verify accuracy before communication and submittal to the Project Manager
Communicates information to Project Manager and other personnel as directed by the PM
Assists higher level technicians on complex tasks
Maintains assigned equipment and related calibration
Follows safety rules and practices and other safety requirements for all projects
Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects

Qualification

Required

High School Diploma (Preferred)
Valid Driver's License (Required)
Field and laboratory testing of construction materials
Maintaining required certifications
Ability to lift 40-50 pounds
Coordinating with clients and Certerra/Insight Group engineering and professional state

ACI Certifications (Preferred)
Experience in airfield pavement construction, landfill construction quality control/assurance is a plus
