Responsibilities
Perform inventory systems programming tasks, including, but not limited to, creation & maintenance of ingredients, recipes, and products, creation & maintenance of user accounts, and creation & maintenance of restaurant locations and company hierarchy
Intermediate troubleshooting of POS/Back Office issues
Manage vendors, and communicate with franchisee partners and personnel to drive issues to resolution
Manage the POS infrastructure by following and developing new procedures and best practices for managing system configuration changes, terminal images, and software upgrades
Manage the operational workflows and timelines associated with the Product, Recipe, and Location domains
Analyze, design, configure, test, document, and deploy enhancements or bug fixes according to the Operations and Marketing team’s business requirements
Assist with governance and quality assurance of data elements by monitoring systems and reports, propose system and/or process enhancements, and participate in testing
Serve as a consultant to business partners by providing recommendations to enhance the collection and integrity of their data
Conduct data analysis and cleansing to remove unused and duplicated data for better management and quicker access
Participate in a rotational schedule for weekend support
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in information science, data management, computer science, or related field preferred
3+ years of experience with Data Management principles, processes, and systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access
Ability to analyze reports, perform error resolution, and make business decisions
Strong communications and analytical skills; capable of building trust with business leaders and key stakeholders in the process of maintaining data management solutions that support business needs
Effective relationship-building and collaboration skills
Ability to participate in IT project status reviews and checkpoints
Commitment to customer service and to resolving client satisfaction issues in a timely manner
Commitment to continuous learning and re-skilling with appropriate training and professional development
Preferred
Experience with Restaurant Industry software products, i.e., Brink, Crunchtime, Olo, etc
Operations experience in the Casual Dining or Quick Service environments
