Sr. Sales Engineer

As a Sr. Sales Engineer, you will partner with Account Executives to understand customer requirements, lead the technical aspects of the sales process, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to communicate customer needs.

Responsibilities

Partner with Account Executives to understand customer requirements and recommend solutions in order to remove technical and business-related obstacles during the sales process
Lead the technical aspects of the sales process, including demonstrations, Proof-of-Concepts, RFPs, design documentation, technical presentations, and enablement sessions
Design compelling product demonstrations and presentations, leveraging your deep understanding of Transcend's products and industry to showcase the technical features and value
Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to communicate customer needs and feedback
Stay informed on customer data compliance requirements, AI infrastructure considerations, and industry trends to bring a knowledgeable perspective to every conversation
Contribute to Transcend's broader success through knowledge sharing, thorough documentation, and teamwork

Qualification

Required

3+ years of sales engineering experience or comparable relevant experience
Experience working with REST APIs, databases, and SaaS technology integration patterns
Understanding of how to build websites and/or mobile apps
Proficiency in demonstrating software and technology solutions
Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to quickly learn new concepts and explain them to others
A self-starter who thrives in a remote environment
You embody curiosity, a growth mindset and humility
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
Willingness to travel as needed to meet business objectives
Valid work authorization in the United States is required, as this position does not qualify for visa sponsorship

Preferred

Experience in Data Privacy or Customer Data Management
Experience delighting enterprise customers
