Required

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of New York, NY or willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel within the US
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

Knowledge of messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka, TIBCO EMS, TIBCO Rendezvous (RV), and RabbitMQ
Strong Unix/Linux troubleshooting background
Proficiency in Shell scripting (bash or ksh)
Experience with log analysis, performance metrics, and monitoring tools
Familiarity with ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management

Preferred

Around 2 years of hands-on experience supporting messaging platforms Kafka, TIBCO EMS, TIBCO RV, and RabbitMQ
Experience in enterprise or financial services environments
Basic SQL knowledge
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Splunk, Hawk, or RabbitMQ Management Console
Experience using ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Jira
