Bookkeeper / Office Assistant
Bay Shore Staffing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Assistant to help with day-to-day financial tasks and occasional projects. The role involves managing QuickBooks Online, reconciling accounts, and assisting with general administrative tasks to support a property manager or small business owner.
Responsibilities
Keeping QuickBooks Online up to date (income, expenses, categorization, etc.)
Reconciling accounts and tracking monthly financial activity
Helping manage invoices, receipts, and vendor payments
Pulling simple reports and summaries when needed
Assisting with general admin tasks (file management, emails, data entry)
Supporting on one-off projects—could be anything from organizing past records to researching vendors or streamlining processes
Qualification
Required
Experience with QuickBooks Online is a must
Organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently
Good with numbers, details, and following up on open items
Flexible and open to jumping into a variety of small projects
Preferred
Experience in real estate or property management is a bonus, but not required
