Responsibilities
Prepare and post monthly journal entries within precision and attention to detail
Assist in the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Analyse and reconcile balance sheet accounts to maintain financial accuracy
Manage the Fleet program in support of the sales organization
Manage Fixed Assets and Leases to ensure proper accounting treatment
Prepare and analyse sales and tax returns, ensuring compliance
Contribute to special projects as an active team member, offering your financial expertise
Support Accounts Payable activities and collaborate with team members on financial tasks
Assess and recommend improvements to day-to-day procedures and controls
Respond promptly to ad hoc requests for information and reports
Thrive in a team environment, working collaboratively to achieve common goals
Demonstrate commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
2-3 years of professional work experience supporting financial and accounting initiatives
Strong technical acumen using MS Excel: v-lookups, pivots, and macros
Proficiency in working with different systems to retrieve and analyze data
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to develop effective working relationships with business partners
Limited travel with a potential of up to 5% if necessary (domestic)
Preferred
Experience with Power BI, Business Objects, JD Edwards, Oracle SmartView/Hyperion and/or OneStream preferred
Our ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in accounting and be motivated to grow with our global organization
Exposure to a multi-divisional or multi-plant manufacturing setting preferred
Knowledge of accounting principles in accordance with GAAP
