Responsibilities
Assist with manufacturing and production of parts and support equipment modifications under supervision
Help monitor and maintain proper parts and maintenance inventory
Support preventative maintenance schedules and ensure accurate documentation
Clean, lubricate, and make basic adjustments to parts, equipment, and machinery
Assist with cutting, welding, and fabricating material to repair or replace damaged components
Document repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities performed
Support maintenance and repair of industrial production or processing machinery to ensure proper operation
Learn to read and interpret manufacturers’ manuals for proper equipment installation and operation
Follow all plant, safety, and OSHA procedures while performing duties safely and responsibly
Work closely with senior maintenance technicians to develop troubleshooting and mechanical skills
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
Availability to work assigned schedule as well as weekends when necessary
2 years of basic mechanical, maintenance, or hands-on technical experience (work, school, or training programs accepted)
Basic mechanical skills and knowledge of welding practices (training or hands-on experience preferred)
Prior experience with the mechanical aspects of the printing or finishing industry is a big plus
