Summer 2026 Internship - Tax Intern

Dow Jones is a global provider of news and business information, and they are seeking a highly motivated individual for a Corporate Tax and Treasury internship. This role offers hands-on experience in corporate tax and treasury, working alongside experienced finance professionals and contributing to various projects.

Responsibilities

Use on-line research platforms to perform Federal, State and Sales tax research on various topics assigned as well as compilation and analysis of the results
Interface with departments outside of Tax to gather supporting information required to complete tax compliance
Create and/or update Excel spreadsheets in support of the tax compliance
Review current treasury systems and their interaction with other financial systems, giving you exposure to the tools used in corporate finance
Learn and apply cash forecasting by legal entity; gain an understanding of how various business units interact via payment processing
Process Improvement and Automation: You’ll contribute to brainstorming sessions to improve current processes involving the Treasury Workstation
Work on other projects as assigned as the internship progresses

Required

Completed at least three years towards your Bachelor's degree program in Accounting or a related field (rising Senior)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; and Google Suite

Preferred

Previous Tax experience is a plus, but not required
