They are seeking a Short Term Chemical Engineer who will support researchers in the development and improvement of biopharmaceutical filtration devices while receiving professional mentorship and leadership development opportunities.
Executive Office
Responsibilities
General laboratory activities and instrumentation including pipetting, preparation of solutions/samples/media, and operation of pH meters, autoclaves and analytical balances
Lead projects to quantify the performance of filters and chromatographic devices used to purify samples
Develop process strategies and data packages to solve problems for biopharmaceutical manufacturers
Communicate the results of work to technical colleagues and client stakeholders
Author technical publications such as application notes
General laboratory upkeep and supplies maintenance
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate student completing a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering that is about to start their senior year
Good deductive reasoning and analytical approach to problem solving
Able to handle multiple projects concurrently, self-motivated, and results driven
Able to communicate effectively
