Responsibilities

Create and implement deployable mechanical mechanisms that are verified through test/analysis
Develop CAD models visualizing various design solutions
Deliver required PDPs on time to meet program objectives
Develop Infrastructure Integration PDPs with the various element teams to proactively eliminate disconnects and design clashes
Identify gaps within a design and/or requirements and provide a resolution that is cost effective, innovative, and has minimal impact to others
Ensure the developed PDPs meet the design requirements from the various element/configured item specifications

Required

Mechanical Engineer: Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) with 2 years of experience; or Master's degree with 0 years of experience
Principal Mechanical Engineer: Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) with 5 years of experience; or Master's degree with 3 years of experience
An active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
Experience with design/fabrication techniques for structural details, assemblies, and/or installations
Experience using product lifecycle management (PLM) or Product Data management (PDM) tools
Experience with 3-D modeling

Preferred

ICBM Experience
Experience in creating a Product Definition Package (PDP) or PDP like products
Experience with the ASME Y14.X suite of engineering drawing standards
Ability to work closely with multiple functional organizations (Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Field Operations, etc.)
Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter CPLM (Common Product Lifecycle Management) tools
2+ year of experience with 3-D modeling tools
2+ year of experience using product lifecycle management (PLM) tools
