Responsibilities

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong undergraduate teaching skills
The standard teaching load for assistant professors is a 4/4
The candidate should be supportive of the Catholic and Franciscan mission of the University as articulated on the University’s website
The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of the Franciscan tradition, particularly for the purposes of teaching the department’s introductory course
In addition to the introductory course, this position affords the opportunity to teach courses related to the successful candidate’s specific area of expertise
