Responsibilities
Develop and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and cloud network architectures
Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and optimize network performance
Monitor network health, troubleshoot issues, and plan for capacity
Implement firewalls, VPNs, and ensure adherence to security standards
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate SLAs
Create and maintain network continuity and recovery plans
Research emerging technologies and recommend improvements
Qualification
Required
3+ years of proven experience in network architecture and design required
Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF), hardware, and security frameworks required
Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies required
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Preferred
SD-WAN Technologies: Design and deployment of software-defined WAN solutions preferred
Network Automation: Experience with scripting (Python, Ansible) for network automation and orchestration preferred
Zero Trust Architecture: Implementing secure access frameworks and segmentation strategies preferred
Cloud Networking: Advanced experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure) preferred
Network Virtualization: Working with technologies like VMware NSX or similar preferred
Performance Optimization: Capacity planning and QoS configuration for high-performance networks preferred
Security Integration: Deep understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure network design principles preferred
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty
Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate
CompTIA Network+ or CompTIA Security+
Juniper Networks Certified Internet Professional (JNCIP)
Bachelor's degree Computer Science, IT or related field
