Responsibilities
Lead accounting operations including monthly close and consolidated reporting
Maintain internal systems and refine reporting structures and chart of accounts
Handle AP, AR, GL, payroll review, job costing, and bank reconciliations
Manage intercompany transactions and produce accurate financial statements
Coordinate with external partners on tax filings, audits, and compliance
Strengthen financial procedures and ensure adherence to GAAP
Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning efforts
Deliver insights to leadership to guide decisions and vendor negotiations
Mentor accounting staff and manage relationships with banks and insurers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
7–12 years of progressive experience, including 3+ years in an Accounting Manager or Controller-level role
Strong knowledge of financial consolidations and internal controls
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (non-QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills
Comfortable being both strategic and hands-on in daily accounting operations
Preferred
CPA or MBA
Background in construction, distribution, service, or manufacturing environments
