Responsibilities
Issue purchase orders to approved vendors once engineering designs are finalized
Establish and communicate vendor order due dates based on production timelines
Monitor supplier performance and ensure on-time delivery of components
Collaborate with engineering, production, and planning teams to align material availability with build schedules
Maintain accurate purchasing records and update ERP systems as required
Identify and resolve supply issues proactively to minimize production delays
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree (Preferably in Supply Chain/Operations/Engineering)
5+ years of experience in a purchasing or planning role within a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of lead times, material planning, and vendor management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Preferred
Any of the following - CPP / CPSM / CPIM / CSCP/ Lean Six Sigma
