Responsibilities
Supports Senior Executive Services (SES) and Military officers conference and meeting spaces
Install, pull, terminate, and test all audio visual (AV) type cables, connectors, and interfaces. Ability to install projection screens, plasma TVs and different types of speakers
Installation of AV systems on client sites
Read blueprints and wire AV racks
Serves as Lead Audio Visual Engineer
Manage AV projects with various models and makes of equipment
Has a thorough understanding and working knowledge of testing, analyses and corrective action on systems, networks, hardware, and software
Know and understand all wire and connector types on all AV related cables
Experience with Audio Visual equipment, internet-based video solutions, switchers, codecs, interfaces, and room design
Will access classified areas to support Enterprise JWICS with installation and troubleshooting system hardware
Qualification
Required
Certification requires a minimum of one of the following: AMX Technician (Networked AV) Certification, Completed Crestron CTI Technician Track Certification or AVIXA CTS certification
Five (5) years of relevant experience
Experience working with Crestron
Experience working with Cisco
Experience working with Biamp/AMX
Experience working with Extron
Requires an active TOP SECRET Clearance
