Responsibilities
Collaborate with a distributed engineering team using Confluence, GitLab, Jira, and Discourse
Participate in code reviews and uphold high software quality standards
Communicate progress to leadership and customers
Conduct multidisciplinary research to support modeling and simulation objectives
Contribute to architectural discussions and long term technical direction
Design, develop, document, test, and debug space focused simulation software
Qualification
Required
0 years' experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience
Proficiency in Python
Understanding deep reinforcement machine learning techniques
Familiarity with neural network models using PyTorch
Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, agile environment
Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
Preferred
Knowledge with agent based or event driven constructive modeling and simulation
Foundational space knowledge (orbital mechanics, coordinate systems, timing, etc.)
Understanding of space domain awareness and space combat power
Background in math or physics
Knowledge within the U.S. or allied space enterprise
