Traffic & Sales Operations Coordinator

Teledyne FLIR Defense is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Coordinator to support Traffic and Sales Operations at their Bozeman, MT site. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate order processing, on-time shipments, and compliance with internal policies and U.S. export regulations, while collaborating with various departments to support smooth customer and product flow.

Responsibilities

Enter and manage customer orders in SAP; ensure accurate customer data

Send order confirmations and serve as a point of contact for post sales customer inquiries

Support shipping, receiving, and cross‑functional responses to customer issues

Maintain order files, documentation, and system records

Coordinate with Finance on payment information and issue resolution

Support visitor management processes

Partner with Quality on compliance and audit-related requests

Assess ITAR/EAR applicability to products and perform jurisdiction classifications

Review requirements to determine ITAR/EAR export or import authorizations

Contribute to development and improvement of standard processes and procedures

Build strong knowledge of company operations and policies

Perform additional related duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, or equivalent experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required); ability to learn new platforms (SAP, OCR EASE)

Positive, customer‑focused attitude and strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, refugee, or otherwise eligible for required export licensing

Preferred

Experience with ERP systems preferred; SAP a plus

Awareness of ITAR/EAR regulations beneficial
