Responsibilities
Manage, mentor, and develop a diverse engineering group
Promote collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning
Set objectives, evaluate performance, and support role development
Establish and track key performance metrics
Provide direction on troubleshooting, equipment improvements, and process capability
Ensure systems are properly documented and standardized
Support implementation of new technologies and upgrades
Lead engineering projects from concept through deployment
Work with cross‑functional partners and external suppliers
Deliver projects on time and within scope
Support day‑to‑day operations when technical challenges arise
Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions
Partner with production teams for real‑time issue resolution
Maintain adherence to safety and quality expectations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
10+ years in manufacturing, including leadership experience
Broad, adaptable engineering foundation
Willingness to be hands‑on and support urgent operational needs
Ability to manage shifting priorities, tight timelines, and fast‑moving goals
Comfortable operating in a dynamic, high‑pressure environment
Experience building, guiding, and developing engineering teams
Strong communication and cross‑functional alignment skills
Strong troubleshooting abilities
Ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously
Preferred
Experience in fast‑paced or high‑volume environments
Familiarity with robotics, sensors, or industrial equipment desirable
Experience with structured problem‑solving or continuous improvement preferred
Experience with formal project management tools/methods a plus
Comfort with modern manufacturing approaches and continuous improvement frameworks helpful
