Human Resource Manager
Reliance One, Inc. is hiring an HR Manager to serve as a strategic partner to plant leadership and employees at a manufacturing facility in Shorter, Alabama. This role will lead all aspects of human resources at the site, fostering a high-performance culture through talent development, employee engagement, labor relations, compliance, and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities
Partner with plant leadership to align HR strategies with business goals
Provide guidance on HR policies, programs, and best practices
Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment
Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning
Drive employee development and retention initiatives
Foster open communication and trust across the organization
Manage employee concerns, investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution fairly and consistently
Manage union relationships, grievance procedures, and contract negotiations
Ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Maintain accurate HR records, reporting, and documentation
Identify skill gaps and coordinate training and leadership development programs
Support continuous improvement and organizational growth initiatives
Track and analyze HR metrics including turnover, absenteeism, and engagement
Provide insights and recommendations to leadership
Lead or support corporate HR initiatives and system implementations
Drive site-level continuous improvement efforts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
5+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment
Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Proven ability to influence and partner with all levels of an organization
Preferred
Master's degree or HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP)
Experience working in a unionized environment
